Payment and Refund Policy Paragon Clinic Shrewsbury

This Payment and Refund Policy applies to private/non-NHS patients receiving treatment at Paragon Clinic.

Payment Terms

For consultations our Terms are payment in clinic on the day of the consultation. Payment can be made by cash, debit or credit card (with the exception of American Express).

For treatment/surgery, full payment is required before admission to Paragon Clinic. Payments can be made by BACS transfer, debit or credit card. For most surgical procedures, payment must be completed at least 5 days before the procedure date.

Most private medical insurance providers will reimburse our consultation and treatment fees for medical problems when preauthorisation is obtained. Diagnosis and treatment of cosmetic/aesthetic issues and treatments are not usually covered by any insurance. For patients with health insurance, unfortunately, we cannot deal with your insurance directly, but are able to assist you. At the time of your service, if you/we believe you have valid insurance coverage, but later find out, for whatever reason, you were not covered, you agree to take full responsibility for the payment. To avoid any unexpected shortfalls, we advise patients to check with their insurance provider before incurring any costs.

All goods remain the property of the company until paid for in full. Should we not have received payment within 10 working days after the consultation/treatment, we will reserve the right to seek recovery.

Fixed Quotation Terms

Following a satisfactory clinical pre-assessment, we will provide a fixed quotation for your treatment. This quotation remains valid for 60 days but applies only if treatment is clinically appropriate. We reserve the right to decline treatment if deemed unsuitable based on medical assessment.

Please also note that lab analysis (e.g, biopsies etc.) will incur an additional charge. Please contact us to receive a complete price list.

Cancellation and Refund Terms

  • Cancellations Up to 24 Hours Before Appointment: You will receive a full refund if the appointment cannot be rescheduled to a mutually convenient time.
  • Cancellations Within 24 Hours of Appointment: If the appointment cannot be rescheduled, 50% of the total fee will be charged.
  • Consultant Determination: Following pre-assessment, if your consultant determines treatment is unsuitable, you will receive a full refund.
  • Refund Process: Refunds will be issued only to the original payer and through the original payment method.

Non-Refundable Scenarios

  • No refund will be provided if you decide not to proceed after admission or if you discharge yourself against medical advice.
  • Inappropriate Physical Condition on Appointment Day: On the day of your appointment or procedure, if you are deemed physically unfit to proceed (e.g, due to non-compliance with pre-procedure instructions or new medical concerns arising after pre-assessment), no refund will be issued. You will be informed during your pre-assessment of any requirements to ensure physical readiness, such as fasting, halting of certain medications, or other preparation steps.
  • Consultation fees are non-refundable

Consultants Fees

The fixed quotation includes consultants fees. Paragon Clinic collects these fees on behalf of consultants and the clinical team, who operate as independent practitioners.
